Welcome Welcome Welcome Everyone to the Curtain Raiser of the First Ever Edition of the
"Annual MeghnaSays... 2015 Awards Gala"
Time, they say, is Supreme. It never stops, never stays, only flows. At its own pace. Seasons change, people change, but Time never changes. It is, however, the primary reason for almost all other changes.
"It makes you bend
It makes you tall
It makes you rise
And It makes you fall"
Nothing else deserves our respect more than Time. And that is the reason why we are all here today. To pay our due respect, appreciation and gratitude to the best of things that happened in the Time just gone by. Time, that was presented to us, beautifully gift-wrapped in a box labelled "Year 2015".
Time has come now, Ladies and Gentlemen, to invoke the Gods and ask them to shower their special blessings on us and this event.
And Time has also come for us to know who are the "Shining Stars of 2015"!
It is an absolute honor to have all of you here. I am your host, Meghna and I am looking forward to having an amazing time with all of you as we embark on this very special, one of its kind and a first of its lifetime journey.
Let us begin with the different categories of The First Edition Of The Annual MeghnaSays... Awards.
They are:
1. "Book Of The Year"
The nominees of this award are all the Ten Books that I read in 2015, which were all not necessarily published in the same year.
2. "Movie Of The Year"
The nominees of this award are all the numerous movies that I saw in 2015, many of which were again, not necessarily released in the same year.
3. "Moment Of The Year"
What is Life if not a series of moments attached together by the string of memories..?
This award goes to that one which made 2015 worth its time.
4. "Post Of The Year"
As the title spills, this award will go to one of the posts which were published in 2015, the post which made blogging the real fun it is, which ignited a plethora of emotions, ideas and talents, and which earned the credit of getting the maximum reader count till date.
5. "Comrade Of The Year"
This is a very special category. And the reason is that this category has no Nominees.
6. Last but definitely not the least, "Irritant Of The Year"
From Day one of the year till the very last day, Day One of the New Year and still counting, there is no beating them! Thoroughly deserving and vexatious to the hilt, there were three nominees to this category, but the winner was hands down, undisputed.
So these are the Seven Categories all out for you.
Each of the subsequent posts shall be announcing the Winners in each category and the reason behind their victory.
